duster fender question

what is the difference between 72 fender and 73/74. Can you use a hood and grill from 71/72 on a 73/74 fender.

The stamping of ALL 67-76 Valiant/Duster/Scamp fenders are basically the same, but can be broken down as follows:
1967 Plain fender
1968 Round side marker light hole added.
1969 Round light hole replaced by reflector.
1970 Rectangular marker LAMP added.
1971 Same as above
1972 Corporate rectangle marker lamp integrated.
1973-1976 Same an 72 EXCEPT is without the tabs to fasten the steel panel that supports the grille.
The 73-76 fenders are far more common to find, and the tabs needed to use the 70-72 grille can be easily be fabricated.

I'll add the 69 fender lacks the support tab to fasten the 70-72 style grill as well.
