Looking for cam bearings for my 340. What do you recommend? Thanks.

I recomend that you don't use Lack's Automotive in Lynchburg VA to install them!

Durabond. They don't just roll a flat piece of steel (the backing) and plate/coat it. It's one solid piece all the way around.

I've never had a problem w any brands & that is a pretty low stressed/trouble free area. the trick is to take care when installing them w the tool & the hot trick is to use an old cam w slots cut diagonally in the journals to open them up. With a bit of shopping you can get a set to your door for $20 or $25. I also drill/tap/plug the vertical crank to cam passages (5 of them) w set screws w 1/16" holes drilled in them to restrict the oil in any journal that does not also feed the rocker arms and 1/8" on those. Works fine & the journals/bearings look great & keeps more oil where it is needed.
