Holley 0-80508s

or those that don't know it, it's the 750 CFM, electric choke, vacuum secondaries, 4160 wannabe.
Basically, Holley's lowest priced carb.

I'm almost embarrassed to ask this question, but I've only had the true 4150/4160's in the past, but looking at it, it looks like the discharge nozzles are not interchangeble with the 123-xxx nozzles.
Am I right or am I going blind?

i have one on my 65 satellite (383). my wife wanted it shiny and w/elec. choke so she could drive it. far as i can tell its identical to a 3310, with elec. choke . everything interchanges

That would be true...same jetting as well. Been running one for years.

Sheesh. Been buying new Holleys all these years when I could have been scooping up 3310's at swap meets for 20 bucks.

Holley lists it as a 4160 series ?? I've been running one for a few years with great success. If there's something wrong with it, you'll have to clue me in...

Holley never calls it a 4160. 4160 wannabe is my terminology.
I never insinuated there was anything wrong with it. Great entry level street carb.

Apparently, you'll have to tell Holley that its not a 4160 series carb, so they can correct their website.....

Further, 3310 & 80508 are model or list #'s, They are all 4160-series carburetors. The only difference between a 4160 & a 4150 is the presence of a rear metering block. All of these carburetors are essentially the same, as these parts can simply be added. If you've got an 80508 or a 3310, you're a rear metering block and a proform main body away from a kick a$$ street / strip carburetor, in my opinion.

as far as your comment of it being the "cheapest" carb Holley offers.... The price point is more a representation of the features the carb has out of the box more than how much performance the carb is capable of.
