Placement of underhood harness straps on 71 Challenger?

Anyone got any photos? I have the set of new straps, but not sure where all of them go.


Of course in the past I would have gone to Barrys site and got the Engineering drawings - way to go Chrysler

FWIW it's a Smallblock (don't think there is a difference) and am also interesting in the harness routing too. Thanks!

No-one have any factory diagrams or underhood photos showing the locations of the straps???

I can't do it now . but if no one gets to it earlier I'll do it tonight

I can't find my pics right now. so I'll try it off of memory

starting top to bottom -
long back plastic strap = pass inner fender just above the shock , holds the heater hoses on NON a/c cars
shorter black plastic strap - top of the drivers side shock - holds the positive battery cable
molded hard plastic clips - 2 go on the firewall just below the wiper motor ( one each side ) 3rd one goes just rearward of the washer reservoir on the pass inner fender
white plastic straps go on the pass inner fender and one on the firewall pass side, straps for the washer hose routing

Thanks Bill, so based on your guidance above, the couple of straps my car had left when disassembled, and the fact my kit had five of the white straps rather than six, would I be right as I've marked up the pics - blue circles for the moulded black clips and green for the white straps??

looks good. but I believe there should be a second hole near the center one on the pass side inner fender(above the shock )for the long black strap
