I have a purple shaft cam that I am interested to know more about, no card. and no P- number, Its for BB and the numbers i can read at the end of the cam is 891006. Also it has 2 dip of pink paintdrop on its body over the faded purple color.

One way is to use micrometer or calipers and measure the base circle of cam (note measurement)

Next measure the tip of lobe, to the bottom of the base.

Subtract the base number from the tip of lobe number, then multiply by 1.5.

Might want to measure an exhaust and an intake lobe.
