727 leaking after warm up.

The trans leaks out the inspection cover after the car is warmed up and driven about 20 miles, and then quits leaking.It loses about a pint.I'm thinking bad torque converter seal,but someone said it might be overheating.The fluid is new&not burnt or over filled.Any ideas gentlemen?

It might be venting, are you sure it's not overfull??

I always check it in neutral when it's warm.Wrong dipstick for the trans.possibly?
