71 chally conv. dash pad: best quality/price. where?

whom do you recommend where to buy a reproduction dash pad?

I bought an Ultimate Rides pad for my 71 Challenger from Dante, and it was great. The E-body pads they do are nice, but make sure to specify one made on an original steel inner frame. They make some with a plastic frame that I have heard will warp over time. Also, save the little plastic thing that the Challenger script sticks into on the passenger side of the pad.My pad didn't include that, and I had to hunt one. Cut into the pad around it with a razor blade, and then clean it up before you glue it to the new pad

Just Dashes is the best in my opinion.
I went though 2 of them from the other guys and they were bad.
I ended up sending my original to JD's and they did a great job. They even included a new matching color speaker cover.
UR is good if you are on a budget and not to picky.
Just my opinion.

I got my 71 Challenger dash done by Just Dashes (befor to price increase) after seeing the Ultimate Rides dash on a friends car . The edges of the pads by Ultimate Rides pads are uneven and do not mate to the plastic trim on the sides as well leaving a gap that does not look rite to me. OK for a driver, but if you want the best it can be is a NOS pad(good luck)or Just Dashes.

Just Dashes is the only place I will use. We originally got one from Year One. It had a plastic core and would not even fit on the frame. I would be embarrased to sale one to my worst enemy. We sent it back to Year One. At least they did take it back.

A little more money, but the Just Dashes piece fits and looks awesome.
