Probably been asked before, what is the largest battery you can put in a 68 charger? Mine is done and I'd like to upgrade. Is it group 24 or group 27?

I have a 68 Charger i'm currently restoring and have the dumb question what is meant by group 27.

Group 27, 24, etc refers to the size of the battery..

the height & length of the short side of the rectangle are the same between the 2 so measure the long side of your battery box & see if these dimentions 10&1/4" (24) or 12&1/16" (27) nestle inside there comfortably.
