Has anyone ever ordered a missing Broadcast sheet? - 07/08/08 01:45 PM

I am interested in a broadcast sheet for my car. Can Galen or anyone else provide one? Any input and experiences are appreciated. Thanks in advance

What year is your car? Where was it built? That can be found in the VIN number. You could try, www.chryslerheritage.com
they have records through 1967. In fact I got one for my '64 Barracuda from them, but they did not have one for my '69 Roadrunner.
Or try, www.hamtramck-historical.com They list a number of broadcasat sheets, I think they are mostly for that plant, but may still worth a try.
You could send a request to Galen to see if he has one or not. But it took a year and a half before I got an answer that he didn't have one. These are two that I know of but there may be more places to try.

Bob,

Are you just trying to

You know that the only hope of getting a Broadcast Sheet is by finding an original right?

Galen Govier and Barry Washington do keep "Lost & Found" Broadcast Sheet records to help reunite car owners with thier sheets but even with that it's a bit of a long shot finding your original.

There is no way to reproduce a BS 100% accurately without having the original to copy and there are no Reputable sources for reproduction sheets. If you find one of the shady characters selling them, buyer beware (At least one of them trolls Moparts threads for customers). Regardless of thier promisses, it's 100% impossible to make a perfect reproduction, the information they contain is never 100% accurate and they can be spotted as fakes by a few of us so it would be a waste of money to buy one anyway.

Thanks for the info but it appears there will be no luck there. It's a 1972 Cuda built at Hamtrack in Oct of 71.

I think I saw the build sheet for this car in the possesion of the previous owner several years before I bought it. He claims he thought he put it back in the car. I had helped with the car and even drove him body parts 25hrs straight.

Scott, no I was really hoping that someone had historical records at this point and could provide a sheet or info.
