What is the best intake manifold for this 340 engine:
1971 340 Duster engine with Edelbrock/Carter 600cfm carb, aluminum heads(non ported) stock compression (10.5:1) Mopar Purple Cam hydraulic 248 duration,.508 lift, Hooker comp headers, 391 rear gear ratio. Had a Weiand on it for 20 years & looking to get the best aluminum for this setup.
On 15 inch rims with 275's in rear & 235's up front. Streetable with possible drag strip every now & again. Thanks for any help, Jo

Either a LD340 or the Edlebrock RPM Air Gap are great intakes.

Edelbrock Air Gap,run one on both my 416 and 360 with very good results..

LD340 and do yourself a favor put a holley 750 at least on it... it will be a hot one.. dan

Air Gap and get a Thermoquad, you'll love it and all the stock stuff works on them.
