Recommendation to re-kit 1971 Thermoquad Carb - 07/17/09 02:07 AM

Anybody know who would be a good recommendation (business) to get my 71 thermoquad carburetor re-kitted and cleaned up?

For my restoration money, Harms Automotive, aka Scott Smith would be my hands down choice. He did a spot on job from plating to tuning. Not only 71 TQ's but anything from my lowly 1bbl 70 4351 Holley to my 70 six barrel carbs. Check out: www.harmsauto.com

I rebuilt my own '71 thermoquad and it works great. I found out how on some Imperial site. It's very easy to do, and only cost about $30.

You can do it. Like ws said, kits are about 30 bucks.

It would help to have a parts carb but that isn't a deal breaker.
