Best way to cut up a car?

Hope I posted this in the right section...

I have a '79 Cordoba that I bought for the motor & trans, I have no title for the car so it has to be cut up & scrapped. Hopefully someone has pieced out a car like this, I've done that with an old ramcharger but never a unibody car. I don't have a torch,but I do have a super sawzall and a grinder with cut-off wheels ( I basically cut up the aforementioned ramcharger with the cut off wheels).

Having cut up a '71 Sportsman van body myself, I'd suggest you find someone who'd come pick it up and haul it away instead. For what you get, it might not be worth the time and materials expense.

If you're set on DIY, I like the "The Ax" sawzall blades found at Home Depot. Very heavy duty and they cut quickly.

You'll just have to learn as you go, cutting across frame rails and crossmembers only when necessary. It all depends upon what you're hauling away the pieces in or on.

I have "whacked" many cars up with my sawzall. I wouldn't bother with the cutoff wheels, they take a lot longer and you'll go through more wheels than blades. Just make sure you have some longer blades when you go through the thick spots like frame rails and x-members

Years ago when he was much younger a buddy of mine used a Fire Axe and nothing else. And he would do one or two a week! To this day he's still a guy you don't want to wrestle with.

Being someone that does this stuff regularly...

You didn't mention how you're going to get rid of the interior or glass.
