Engine options?

I think they were 14" wheels. I'm sure you got the 2.2L carb engine in them.
I also think there was a Shelby Rampage available at some point. Those might have gotten a 15" wheel.

They've got a 4-bolt rim, and there was no factory shelby package. The ones in california were not a factory product if memory serves. You can make a shelby rampage which is what my brother is doing to his. You put a nose, air dam and turbo bulge hood off a shelby charger and splice together two sets of shelby charger side ground fx and you're in business.

The California ones were "factory". All had carb'd 2.2's. I have seen 13", I think on some. Most had 14s, the Shelby-look (they weren't Shelby's and had no logo on the seats) ones had 15s.

The standard size on the base Rampage was a 13. 14's on the performance version. The 2.2 engine was the only engine offered for them. Rampage was 82, 83, 84 and the Scamp was only 83.
The Shelby Rampage was NOT a factory package. It was a conversion package shipped to a few dealers in CA like Moss Motors in Riverside. Only saw maroon, black, and Blue going through dealers at the time. They had the 15" wheels on them and the ones I saw also had matching caps. They had Direct Connection tint bands on the tops of the windshields as well. It was NOT a Shelby at all but had the looks of one so got nicknamed that.
Anyone got a stock one for sale in SoCal for cheap????

Thanks, I really don't need one or even another vehicle, but I really like them and the fuel mileage is great.
