SB rocker shaft hold down washer/spacer ?'s - 05/05/09 02:35 AM

It would appear I installed the hold downs in the wrong locations during assembly. The 2 wider pieces are supposed to be in the #2 and #4 positions.

Would this mess up the proper oil flow to the rockers/pushrods?

Did I ruin my rockers? there was noise and there is visible wear but not so much I that can feel it.

Make sense? Thanks!!

some of those you have to grind the edge off for propper spaceing

Should be no reason to grind the spacers. They go in a certian order and fit with no adaption necessary. Won't hurt the oil flow. What shows wear?

if you use stock hold downs with after market shafts and rockers they need ground. i just went threw that my self. sorry didnt mean grind spacers
