Is there a company like AMD or Goodmark making full door skins for the 68 runner or gtx or is this another in the future project can anyone please enlighten me thanks Brian

Decent used doors are still out there. Complete door skins would be a b*tch to install properly given the number of compound curves requiring pinching. Haven't a clue if they're in the works but lowers are available from Shermans. A complete decent used door is cheaper - even before any labor is added in.

it looks as if AMD is making the door shell for the coronets now so its only a matter of time before the gtx and runners get the door shell.

Same door shells, 68's have a different door lock position than 69 & 70 but thats a easy mod. All 68-70 Dodge and Plymouths Coronet, Satellite, RR, Bees, ect...will interchange

Over the past year I've bought 2 excellent southern doors for $150. and $90.

I suppose if you don't have the time or patience or access to swapmeets then the new stuff is the way to go.

You say door shell what exactly is the door shell the door frame or is it the door skin or the whole door assembly thanks Brian

It is the whole door without all the hardware and window parts. If you disassemble everything on your door thats what you get basically.

I wish they had all this stuff a few years ago I would still have my 68 GTX
