does any1 know if u can mix mopar purple antifreeze with mopar red antifreeze? i have allways ran purple and didnt even know they sold red until i got home yesterday from chrysler dealership and cut the seal foil and when i poured it out it was red. the red is 5 yr and the prple is 10 yr.

Never heard of red.Looks like from what you wrote purple lasts longer.Id just stay with purple.

Any more I am fearful of mixing transmission fluid or anti-freeze. The days of green antifreeze and Type A -Suffix A transmission fluid seem to be long gone.
