Brake parts, what are they for? - 11/10/23 04:30 PM

I had a friend just drop off some disc brake parts and I don't recognize them straight off. The resemble Dodge Dakota to me but I doubt that's what they're for.

Thanks

Someone had suggested '73-'74 B body.

My 73 & 74's have pin type calipers but aside from that they look just like those assemblies.

Maybe later B, C or M body? shruggy

Does you car have the bar that goes between both bushings on the control arm like this one has?

From Cass aka Dr. Diff

F/M/J body front disc brakes. If you remove the upper control arms, they will also fit B/E (and '73-'76 A-bodies) bodies.

Thanks Cass.

Yes. On the 73 and up isolated K frame B bodies they have that bar between the control arm bushings.

The upper control arms are not mounted to the body but a bracket mounted to the K Frame.
