Probably not correctly, Mopar change the stock valve bodies in either 1970 or 1971 to part throttle shifting at a higher RPM instead of shifting at the lower driveshaft speeds like before that change.
I'm remembering stock 727 with 3.23 gears and stock tires shifting around 8 mph out of low and between 12 and 15 MPH out of second gear at light part throttle driving, the later ones shifted out of low around 12 to 15 MPH and between 20 to 30 MPH out of second at light throttle, way better up twocents

Valve bodies are grouped '66-'70 and '71-later. The accumulator feed ports in the case were changed in '71 so swapping VB's from one group to the other adversely affects the operation of the accumulator.

if the accumulator is blocked with a rod, does this still apply, year wise ?

Once the accumulator is blocked the VB group doesn't matter.
