I have a 2012 Ram 1500 sport.

Is it possible to add the power tail gate lock in it.?
Do they make a kit for said possiblity?

My truck does not have the backup camera system if that makes a difference

Where does the screen mount?
I dont have the big screen radio in the truck

I think you have to have the RA3 radio unit for it to work.

Here's another source. This company also sells a dongle that connects to the OBD-II port and programs the BCM to recognize the backup camera. This kit requires the factory touchscreen radio.

the backup camera would be nice. But adding an external screen is not for me.

My main interest is the tail gate lock. I recently put a locking tonneau cover on and the truck has a lockable tailgate. And making it power would be nice. aka Convenient

installing the electric lock is pretty easy and I liked the fact it works with your factory remote.

This is what I want.
I see Mopar offers a kit as well. For not much more than the aftermkt kits.
