Very "RARE" because I believe the only interiors available in a '69 SWINGER were Black, Blue & Tan bench seats.

Those codes are for the exterior paint color. (roof and lower body) Is the next code L2X or D2X as one of them would be the interior color code.

I cant find r4 interior in the book at all for a 69 swinger

No such thing as an R4 interior. Like said above, the first R4 is the body color, and the second R4 is the roof color. You could order a two-tone body/roof, that is what the second color code is for! I have seen a Y2 with X9 roof, with X9 (black) being the typical second color. I have seen a bronze with tan roof too!
