Help identify BB adj. Rockers. Early 60s & back? - 06/18/22 06:50 PM

Pick these up along with a few sets of B & RB pushrods at a swap meet.

I thought they looked fairly OEM and not crane. Appear to be in good condition. Pushrods are definitely on the heavy duty 3/8 side.

Are these vintage/early aftermarket? Or are they OEM off like a 413 300 from the late 50s or so?

Thanks
Chris

look like the same as Isky to me. I can't remember exactly what an OEM adjustable looks like but I don't think it is the same.

Ok, thanks. I found some pics of Crane, and they are not them.

I thought maybe some other early RB's ~may~ have had adj. rockers other than MaxWedges, but have never actually seen any. And these don't have stands with them, like early heads had.

After doing a little research on the Isky, you were spot on.

Production arm should look much like the Isky but do not have the hardened inserts in them on the stem end.

Those are the early Isky Ductile iron rockers for 1964 and later B and RB motors. Good stuff up

Yes, they turned out to be marked just like your picture.

It appears the shafts that these were bolted down to were over torqued, as they wouldn't come off over the thru holes. I had to gut the shafts in 2 to get the rockers off. No biggie, I have plenty of shaft sets laying around. Unfortunately, quite a bit of galling going on from what appears to be some low oil pressure. I little work needed.

Could be early Sig Ersons that had the adjusters changed. Mine I got in like 72 use the same type springs between them. Mine also have like thin rings for shafts also.I did change the adjusteres to MPs as the oes were an intererence fit and started working lose.

Erson and Crane ductile iron rocker arms never had the welded on harden wear pad like the Isky did tsk scope
All the Cranes and Ersons ductile iron Mopar BB rocker arms I've seen looked all together different, wimpeir, weaker than Iskys and stock Mopars do I've seen shruggy
