Air grabber base, what does it fit?

A buddy has this base, what does it fit?

'70 Charger 440 sixpack.

1970 & '71 440+6 cars without a fresh air hood ..... and cars with N95, N96, N97 (aka California emissions & noise reduction)

optical illusion or does that have a "drop base"? got a pic of it from the driver's front?

Sure does look like a drop base, and the front shield does look tall.

It is a buddy's base, it came with his AAR Cuda and he wants the correct base. Here is another pic of the assembly...

I have never seen one with that much drop so I am going to go with the notoriously low hood clearance 70 Charger. I could be wrong.

Edit: what about a C body? They did make a few.

So were there two different ac for 6 pack without fresh air. One unique to a charger and the other for superbirds, other b bodies and such?

NO, there is only one factory 3x2bbl base with the shield

Then that must just be camera angle that makes that look like extra drop.

It appears he may need the lid with the wide lip too.

I'm sure both pieces are wrong, He has an engine for the AAR but not the original one, but it is a T/A-AAR engine. The car hasn't been out of the garage in decades, and the Demon GSS he has might have been out 10 years ago...

AAR has a special baseplate that I supply as well the one you shown, is for non-N96 cars with a 440-6 pack or Hemi

He is willing to trade for the correct one...
