Where to find water valve for 71 B body Strato Vent

I've been striking out. Where can I find a water valve for a 1971 B body with Strato-Vent? I don't mind modifyling a similar valve if necessary, but sure would like a correct one.

there are 2 modern ones. half plastic.

3579173 is the part number. Check on B bodies only. Someone there may have one if you post a want ad.

Do you have your old correct one?

There’s a few other brand cars that have the same exact valve but use a different bracket. It may be cheaper to find and all brass NOS version for another car and modify your OE bracket to work. I’ve seen it done with riveting the bracket to the vacuum diaphragm. The valve section is just held on by two screws, IIRC

Thanks for the help everyone. Yes, I have my original valve but it is seized inside.
I have tried searching on here, but no success.
If I can modify another version and transfer my bracket, that is fine.
I just need a functioning valve, and preferably a correct appearance

there is a GM valve that is very similar with a different bracket ................ but would this work?

That’s the one I think I found that was used for the resto of a 71 Charger strato vent car.

I think 67 to 69 Camero’s. Can’t remember if all or one particular year.

Current offerings may have been updated too. So look on eBay for old NOS boxes.
