1970 Cuda, 440, six pak shaker car. X race car. Mini tubbed rails moved in. no cage(removed) Where is the fuse box SUPPOSED to be located? Left side of the column up under the dash? ....If so... this car has no fuse box.....

Just above steering column to the right on the firewall

The fuse box is held onto the bottom lip of the dash with a large screw on the drivers side of the dash between the steering column and the emergency brake. It is facing up towards the roof so you can't see it while sitting in the seat or in the car unless you lay down on the driver side floor and look up there scope
The main wiring junction block mounts on the firewall on the right side of the steering column above the gas pedal bracket scope

Firewall junction box is there, but no fuse box! I see a couple inline spade type fuses near the column but that's it. Gee, wonder why the wipers don't work.....

Ebody fuse box is part of the bulk head adapter, not screwed to the dash.

This is correct. The fuse box clips right onto the bulkhead connector on an ebody.

as others posted. it's on the firewall where the main wire harness goes thru.
with that said. it sounds like a highly modified race car. it could be anywhere the builder decided to mount it. start at the battery and follow the power wires.

If its an x race car, there probably wasn't much need to the extra weight of the fuse box or all the extra wire and accessories that was no longer required. All you needed was the starting system, maybe an electric fuel pump, an ignition system and possibly a few gauges & gauge lights. The charging system was optional. A hard core racer would have ditched everything he didn't need to have.

UPDATE: I removed the drivers seat to get a better look and to better access the underside of the dash. There IS a fuse box on the firewall at the bulkhead connector, NOT UNDER THE DASH.The wiring bundles from the column and everything else was misplaced, jammed everywhere, and blocking it from view.
