I should have stated I have used Permatex PST in the past on steel block's and heads and various bolt types. But used Nickel Anti Seize on Aluminum items with Stainless bolts. But I have a small leak where the water is seeping past the threads. So did not want Locktite type stuff on them. Ij net have also the one bolt may have been bar and it has nothing on it.

Lots of people shy away from this product because of cost, but it is an excellent product. Another one is called "TrueBlu", it has never failed me in any of the applications I've used it in.
