Quick Question on Chrome

Quick Question on Chrome - 03/18/21 12:18 PM

I have a very small area of chrome (defect I guess) that flaked off on my repro Magnum 500 Chrome Wheels on my 70 Challenger. The rest of the wheel looks fine and I want to do a paint repair. Can you guys point me to a paint that will actually look like chrome when it dries? Everything I try looks more like silver. Thanx

I have heard of such a thing but don't know where to find it. How old are the wheels?? Maybe the source would replace it ??

I've read that chrome nail polish works well.

Chrome paint will have to be on a polished or VERY smooth surface to not look "silver"

Chrome vinyl wrap maybe? That stuff is very reflective almost like real chrome.
