Anyone have experience running them? I am thinking about them but I guess the angle plugs create a clearance issue with some headers. Any info is much appreciated.

I got them when they first came out, and they're still working fine.
'69 b body, I tried two sets of headers and two exhaust (among other things) in the pursuit of speed.
For spark plug socket clearance....2 small dings required with hooker competition b body, none required with 2" super competition b body.
Before bolting in a car, put the heads on a bench, bolt the header on and make whatever adjustments you need to make to change spark plugs. Or do it on an engine stand.

i'm running a pair on a 440 in my '65 coronet. i use 2" tti headers and the angle plugs fit nicely. i'm using a fel-pro 8519 head gasket and 2021 will be my 7th year without any issue. the heads i have weren't very nice casting wise so i piddled with the ports a little. they bolted up fine but i had to do some rocker geometry change and they need custom push rods. i think the big issue with them is rocker geometry and push rod length. there's no way a stock valve train would have worked with what i have.

I also got a set when they first came out. They have been on 3 different engines now and were ported by MCH. No problems at all with them. 2" TTIs fit just fine.

I run a set OOTB with spring change to accommodate a mild street solid roller cam. On a low deck stroker 470" in a street toy A-body. Been together for 8-10 years with zero issues. Running Comp rockers and Hughes shaft spacers, etc. Makes 500+hp and spins easily to 6K+.

Built 6 440's using the angled plug versions. They all cleared the various types of headers we used. 4 of them have been to the track. From mild 12.90's to 10.80's. All were out of the box. All weighed at least 3700 race ready. Doug

They are good heads. I like to get them bare and have my machine shop finish them. The casings are made in USA but not sure of the valves springs etc.I havent had any problems. 2870 lb challenger with driver runs best of 10.28 12.40 compression 440. Keith
