69 charger roof rail install - 02/21/21 03:11 PM

Any one have a picture of the correct screws that
Fasten the roof rail weather strip channel to the roof
Under side.
And what is a proper replacement for the gray
Plumber putty tape that covers the gaps in the
Rail channel where it bends downward along the
A Pillar.
Is 3M spray adhesive ok for the rail to roof gasket

The attaching screws are small Phillips-heads with a flange - shallow dome - about 1/2-5/8 long, silver in color like clear cad plating.
OEM gaskets/seals were a thin white foam, but not visible when installed, so even an adhesive-backed molding tape will work.
Spray adhesive will work for foam, or a few dabs of trim or gasket adhesive.
At the rubber seal's forward ends, and also for the vent window assy forward end at the doors, use 3M strip caulking (aka "dum-dum").
Locations are illustrated in the FSM.
Black Phillips rounded-head screws secure the front ends of the rubber seals, and also the door & quarter seals.
All these screws are #6.
