Aftermarket Trim Rings

Aftermarket Trim Rings - 02/03/21 01:23 PM

I'm thinking about buying a pair aftermarket 15"x 6" rally wheels. Does anyone know of any vendors that sell polished trim rings for 6" wheels that look and fit like the factory Mopar 7" rally wheel trim rings?

You're best bet, probably, is to try Wheel Vintiques' trim rings:

Instead of buying 15x6 wheels, go with the 15x7 wheels and Wheel Vintiques' 15x7 Chrysler style trim rings:

Are the trim rings identical to Chrysler's? No, but comparing $48.40 each to $200+ each for NOS...

I don't want 15 x 7's. Being 15 x 6 are available, I would think someone would make a trim ring for them.

Maybe call them and ask what fits, I know some companies were adjusting backspacing years ago on the 15x7 to fit the later trim rings that were not as deep so maybe they did the same on the 15x6?

Or find a pair of orginal 15 x 6.5 ralleys and a couple of 15 x 6.5 rings
that will do the job. That I know of , no one makes a 15 x 6 trim ring that
looks any where close to what it should,
Another idea , cut down some 15 x 7 rings to fit the 15 x 6 wheel

I had thought about this as an option. Just not sure what would be the best way to do it to get a uniform, clean cut so it wouldn't look hacked.
