In my case I had a full manual valvebody, but this setup does allow the use of the original throttle and kickdown stud. And it is adjustable so you can locate the throttle connection to the original location. That should allow you to use an original single carb setup throttle cable and kickdown linkage I would think.
if i get a chance later today, or tomorrow, i'll dig out my FSM for that. it should have a pic of the factory linkage along with the adjusting procedure. if it does, i'll try to post a pic of that page.
