Torker 383 vrs TM6

Both of these intakes look identical to each other but what are the physical differences between the two? Does the TM6 sit higher or have taller runners than the Torker? Can't tell by looking at pics.

Thanks for the link. The pic with them side by side doesn't show much difference in them.

The Torker has smaller runners. It came after the TM 6. It actually slowed my 499 down 2 MPH over the ported factory iron intake I use in FAST class. I just bought a TM 6 to mess around with. I'm trying to go 11.50 just to give a frame of reference.

Which one slowed your car, the Torker or TM6?

The Torker...the runners are smaller than the TM6. Much too small for a 499. You might have different results with a smaller motor.

Had the TM6 on my 451 stroker before Edelbrock offered their Performer RPM manifold. Back then, the info I gathered recommended the TM over Torker.
