I have one and love it. I bought the 9000 pound one a few years ago. Stable and solid as a rock. I also have the 4500 pound rolling jack. It’s worth the investment. I just used it to install my Dana 60.

Not bad, I had no issues with the project I was doing, as long as you you have the rolling jack. Your good.

I have a bend pak 4 post and use sliding trays with bottle jacks and jack stands when needed. We've done just about everything on it over the last 20 years. I will admit that front coil springs are sometimes easier done on the ground. beer

That explains why I've heard terrible reviews from recent purchases...I figured something changed...

I’m pretty sure all lifts are made in China now, except for Mohawk? The Direct is a rebranded Rotary as they share the same manual and parts.

From Direct's website

Quote
Our lifts are made in an ISO9001 compliant factory located in Haimen, China. The factory in China is owned by an American corporation, which means all management and manufacturing processes must meet specific requirements prescribed by ISO. Visit the ISO website for details.

I bought their 7000 lb. rated four post lift from a local guy who had bought 20+units from them at the SEMA show to get a deal on them. Mine had sat outside in the snow and rain for two years before I bought it, it started leaking fluid out of the down lever button O ring whiney On the second or third time I used it, I still need to fix that.
Beside it leaking I like it up

Doesn't appear as though they offer a 4 post automotive lift though, BUMMER frown

I wouldn't think twice about buying a European made lift other than they are likely $$$$$ But Quality costs. Parts could also become an issue with the exception of Rotary

I like mine although I wish I'd bought the 9K vs the 7K, the extra width would be nice with my '14 Ram - I have only about 1/2" clearance on each side with that one, not enough post to post width. Having said that, I bought mine about 17 years ago so there's no guarantee there's anything but the name still the same nowadays. I have done all kinds of work on mine with no issues although I did bolt it down for extra stability.

Just finished installation of the Triumph 9000. Picked it up in Columbus. $3100 out the door. Perfect for my low ceiling.
