Yes they did.
On some 1970 models disc / drums combinations were even standard equipment.

yes, I think disc brakes became an option in or about 1966, Maybe 65

Absolutely, my 1970 R/T Charger V code car with a SPD of 10-27-1969 had disc and drums, same thing on my 4 speed 1970 T/A Challenger

70 340 a bodies non-power disc/ drum was standard. Not so for 71.
