Need some info on going from power to manual bracks on Jezabel. I have heard some conflicting stories about if the brake pedal linkage is the same on power and manual cars - and I think I need to get (find) a manual firewall support. Has anyone actually done this swap and know for sure? Any info would be great since the car is now down with a huge hole where the booster used to be...

I did it on mine. You need a new pushrod and the firewall support for sure. If you are switching from drum to disk you also need a new proportioning valve.

Thanks Ken - how the heck are ya? I converted the car in 96 to disc brakes, and have never changed the proportioning valve. I am switching over to manual brakes because I need the room underhood, and the booster went bad. I want my whoa back!

As a side note, Rick E. indicated this afternoon all I needed was the pushrod and the firewall support plate. Now to find those....
