I'm sure the K member won't and probably not the other suspension parts either I have a 1965 Dart 270 and a original 1969 Dart GTS H code 383 4 speed car, the inner frame rails on the 1965 car are around 28.5 inches wide and the 1969 inner frame rails are about one inch wider Hopefully some one who has tried that will chime in Why do you want to swap those parts?
Nope the K member will not fit. The other A body parts will bolt on. (Except the Drag Link bar as noted in post below) Idler arm is different too. 65 is bolt on and 70 is bolt through and stronger.
Yes B body control arms will too but you must use the B body spindles too due to larger Ball joint studs taper. I have that on my 65 B-Cuda.
A body lower control arms are longer than B body ones. The spindle used decides the ball joint needed, but if you use ll the later A body stuff except the swaybar, K member and draglink you are good.
if you want to use the later B-body spindles with the early upper control arms and their small ball joints, our own DrDiff has the taper adapters to make this happen [at least he did at one time-i haven't looked lately]. i used a pair of these on my buddy's 72 duster, and they worked great !
I bought my 65 Barracuda used in 1986. It was originally my moms new but we sold it in around 1972. 273 4bb Formula S, A904, 3.23:1 SG 7 1/4 rear. Baby blue with a black stripe.
Between the two, it was sold 3 times and a father and son built it up. Son did not keep his grades up and his dad put it up for sale.
They put the Road Runner upper and lower control arms on with the KH 4 piston calipers. Big ball joints. A 383 HP and 727 trans 1 Ford 9 inch rear with 3.50:1 gears Dual 2 1/4 inch pipes. 235/70 14's on LBP Ralley's
