A friend call me yesterday and asked me. "Could a oil pan that's original in a 1978 LeBaron with a 318 be used on a 340 that is going in a 69 A-body?"

I put a 78 Lebaron's 318 into my 65 Barracuda and the oil pan fit fine. I think my center link did bump the pan at full lock but the 65 K frame is not as wide as the 1967 and up A bodies. The 318 and 340 are the same pan rails. So I say YES.
