Need a new switch....I ordered one from MegaParts..but after reading some posts.... it may not be correct? Will it work??

One year only 1970 B & E body, the emergency switch you pushed IN, instead of pulling out !! This switch will work on your 70RR, but just not be "concours" correct because of the emergency switch . . .

ALSO,you will probably have to file the black part down or widen the grove in the column,,the black part is to big
