1969 B Body I have a axle seal leaking on a Dane rear end. I'm going to replace both seals and bearing on both sides. NAPA shows different seal and bearing P/N for different gear ratio's.. Do I need to know my ratio, or all the axle seals and bearing for a Dana pretty much the same? Thanks for any info..

Dana axle bearings and seals are the same as the 8 3/4". Gear ratio is irrelevant.

It gets confusing with some parts lists, just be sure to only tell them 3.54 or 4.10, those are dana ratios. Dana and 8-3/4, 3.55, 3.91, 4.11 use a different inner seal. I would suggest an E-mail or call to Cass at Doctor diff and get the right stuff the first time.

Dana axle bearings and seals are the same as the 8 3/4". Gear ratio is irrelevant.
Inner seals are not the same bearings and outer seals are. Stock dana passenger car seals are 2.5002 in diameter, 8-3/4 are 2.69 diameter..stock housing.
