Brewers Perf or Passon Perf - 11/05/19 03:40 PM

I'm going to replace my clutch next month and at the same time my buddy is going to rebuild my trans. I have a popping out of first gear issue. Just wondering on who is better for rebuild kits, syncros, possibly first gear, etc... I have ordered stuff from Passon Perf about 18 years ago but just wondering now a days. Good bad on either place. Thanks.

The answer is "Yes" Either vendor will do a great job, there is no bad choice

Wayne and Danny are the Best out there for Rebuilding and Restoring Mopar Manual Transmissions...Passon has great parts, and Brewers is Very Dependable and spot on when restoring a Mopar Transmission!

I have dealt with Jamie Passion several times. Great guy, very knowledgeable. Have never heard anything bad about either. It's great to have more than one excellent option.

Are you sure that your shifter is adjusted correctly in all gears?
If not do that first before fixing something that may not be broken work scope
I've seen this on more than one Mopar, A,B and E bodies shruggy
The shift rods and shift levers get worn and won't let the tranny engage the gears properly and completely scope
To check it have someone shift it into each gear one at a time and then remove the shift rod from the tranny shift lever and see if you can move it forward more into gear, make sure and watch the lever when you remove the rods to see if it moves on its own scope
Good luck, let us know what you find thumbs
