Removing horn ring?

So how do I remove the horn ring from a 1965 Dodge Coronet 500 steering wheel? My FSM doesn't have a steering column section in it. I have newer FSMs but I'm not sure the directions are the same. The '67 manual says to twist the horn ring CCW to remove but that doesn't seem to work with my '65.

Push down. Turn CCW.

Thanks that worked. There was some corrosion built up on the contacts so I had to push a little harder than I thought but in the end it came apart okay. Now I just need to figure out how to take everything else apart in there!
