Anyone tell me what this column came out of. Appears to be the length of an early A body but something isn’t right about that

Looks like someone sheared off the plastic pins and collapsed it.

early coupler. i'd say '66 or earlier. maybe cable trans or floor shift column.

Early columns have the plastic pins?

Started in '66 or '67. I only say that because the joint is right next to the end of the column but maybe they are that tight on an early A body car. On a later A body there is more room at the end.
