Progressive linkage, is there a Right way? - 04/07/19 05:00 PM

Installing the progressive linkage on bros GTX and it seems to me you would attach to rear carb and set it to open front on the slide. Looking around I see it both ways and about 50/50 one way or the other.

Is this because of space constraints or?

Is there a preferred way it was intended to be installed, or does is basically operate the same regardless? (just personal preference)

Yeah 70 is the same, so hooked it up that way.

Funny, I've read all kinds of posts on setting the progressive linkage and adjusting so front carb comes in where you want it to.

from what I can see, there is no adjustment like that. If you try to make front carb come on sooner, you will lose FULL throttle/ WOT on both carbs.(ie. you will never get Both carbs WOT together)

Only way to set it AFAIK is to both carbs WOT like manual says.

Someone correct me if I'm missing something here : )
