I think the only difference is the 67 frames have holes in it for brake system light and flasher switch to the left of the steering column and the 66 does not.
Thanks for the replies. I asked this same question on a few other forums because I need an answer quickly. I have a guy interested in buying my '66 Plymouth B Body dash frame that he needs for his '67 GTX.
I got a reply on another board stating that between 1966-67 Plymouth B Body and 1966-67 Dodge B Body there are 4 unique individual dash frames (8 if you count AC vs non AC).
The model year crossover (66 vs 67) is different at the steering column cutout with the 67 having a larger cutout.
66/67 Plymouth vs 66/67 Dodge is that the Dodge dash frames have a larger cutout area for the cluster gauges that go all the way to the glove box cutout area.
I'm open to other replies that support this topic.
You question is "will they work" and "are they basically the same". With all those variants it could be a long search before he finds an exact match for what he needs.

Agreed! Yes that's how I stated the question in reference of how he (the '67 dash buyer) asked me.
