Tic Toc Tach - 02/04/19 07:24 PM

Hi Everyone,

Is there a procedure to change the clock rod on a 1969 Charger Tic Toc Tack? Someone over-tightened the knob nut and snapped off the threaded part. It is a brand new one, so hoping I can save it.

Nothing is ever easy smh.

help

I'm in the same boat. Did you find a source for the clock stem? The only place I found was instrument specialties, but they wouldn’t sell it outright – only as part of a repair service.

I googled "Mopar clock repair" and a bunch of companies came up. I'd start calling them and see if you can get one to sell you what you need.

Thanks. I had previously tried that and the only one to respond was instrument specialties. I'll give it another shot and see what happens.

Post a picture with dimensions.

I bought an old speedometer repair shop several years ago. Kinda don't know what I have. But I have clock stems and such. Something could be a match.

...you can get the knob and thread ferrule from Performance car Graphics for $20 or so IIRC, if you need that also, clocks4cars might have it as well

That's a bit fan IMO. I'll make a note NOT to do business with them beer
