A body mirror remote location

I was wondering if anyone can give me the dimensions for the location of the driver's side mirror remote in a 72 dart. My car orginally cam with chrome sport mirrors, but the drivers door was replaced at some point with a door with no provision for a remote knob setup. Any info would be helpful...even a pic or two. Thank ya

I don't have the measurement at the moment but it should be the as the pass side if you have that.
