Google...I found many right off the bat. I think a 16 would be what you need

And does Rock Auto ship for free? Odds are it will be more then the ebay one once you add shipping.

So, what you are saying is that the "free shipping" claim is fraudulent and is baked into the the asking price. I don't pay for fraudulent claims, so I won't buy from someone that inflates the price 50% and claims "free shipping".

For the record, from RA with shipping to me is still $2 cheaper than your "free shipping" ebay scammer.

And this genuine Mopar part is even cheaper than RA, with free shipping https://tinyurl.com/yce7mal5

Those "4 ear" caps set me off... SO blatantly wrong! And you see them on a lot of the auction Mopars, along with the coolant decal placed directly in front of the cap. This is like holding up a huge sign that says "I REALLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE HELL I AM DOING"... so good luck with the rest of the restoration being properly done wink
2 ears with a brass rivet along with the correct words that do NOT look like they are half-melted is close enough for me smile

Edit: I found it! I don't know why this did'nt turn up in my original search; but this is what I was looking for: 24 bucks wink https://www.ebay.com/i/163317137113?chn=ps

Tman this is the cap I use on my Cuda. I use the windshield washer reservoir as the overflow. I did have to drill a small hole in the reservoir to keep it from vapor locking. After adding the vent hole which is in the rear of the tank under the hood pin support it has worked perfectly for 7 years.

Some people will say you don’t need the hole but when I added the overflow I also added a new thermostat which I checked on the stove to see what temp it opened so I could see where it was on the gauge so I had the cap off and when it opened checked gauge. Then when I put the cap on it statered to get hot. Opened lid on tank to add coolant and it started to flow fine closed lid vapor locked again. Lol

So added vent hole and never looked back.

Thanks for the reply. I too am using my washer tank for overflow and works perfectly, just the cap could be a bit better looking. It is 2 eared, but would like to look like yours. The thing is, 18lb cap may be a bit too much. Im sure its works great on your system, but the radiator has to take a bit more pressure. Would like to keep it at 16lb.

I too would like a recovery system on my Challenger.
But I thought it required a different cap designed for that?
Got and pics of what you guys did for the washer bottle?

On a junker I used a 2 liter plastic coke bottle with a hose run down to the bottom of it, but I know you want better than that. Yes you need the cap with the thin quarter sized loose piece.

Here is a picture of my TA with the Coolant Decal directly in front of the cap.

Nothing says "I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT" like a picture.

Totally agree. His look reasonably close, though with a silver versus brass button. But...the finish doesn’t corrode like the repro units do, they also hold 16 lbs really well.
