Where to buy carburetor kits

Where to buy carburetor kits - 06/04/18 11:59 PM

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to buy a carburetor kit that is fairly complete? It is needed for a Holley 2 barrel carburetor.

The last kit I purchased was several years ago for a Mopar Quadrajet. No recollection on where it was purchased, but it was missing several semi-important pieces.

I'd say your odds are VG that a parts house 2bbl kit will have everything you need. (& it may have just been a fluke that that particular 4bbl kit was missing some items).

I just ordered a few Holley & Carter 2bbl kits from www.carbs.net

Fast service, in my mail within a few days.

I recently found Mikes Carburetor Parts when I was working on a 2g. Great people (owner corresponds) parts selection from single parts to kits is impressive (also plastic or brass floats). Most important they take care of you, lots of info and how-to articles on their site.I did not know the company existed, and am glad to have found them.

I have about 25 NOS Factory Chrysler carburetor repair kits. There are some Chrysler kits for the Holley 2 Barrel. Send over the part number kit your looking for.

Here is one I have, it's listed for a 1975-81 Dodge truck, 360 and 400 engine 2 barrel, Holley carb, the kit is in excellent condition, $25

Chrysler part number 3879767

Holley carb number 2210 and 2245

Cool NOS kits!

A good source I have experience with is Larry Isgro Carburetors, Inc. (516) 783-1041.
You get a real human on the phone.

I found him in Hemmings Motor News and been buying carb kits from him for 15 years now. The kits he sells are Walker, they are complete except for the vacuum choke-pull-off, which I order separately if I need a new one. One of those guys who is good to talk to. He also rebuilds for you if you want.

He'll ask for the carburetor's tag number.
His kits are around $40, but there is a lot more to them than the "minor repair" NOS kit... (no accelerator pump plunger?).

I've done a lot of business with https://quadrajetparts.com They have parts for just about any domestic carb you can think of.
