I have an empty 1970 SB 727 transmission case with these numbers.
3515843L 3293 3400. what is it out of?

The trans ID list I have says 3515843 is 71-72 passenger cars w/340 engine and w/o damper weight provision.

3293 is the build date August 3, 1970 so it's an early '71 model year unit.
