Lead on a 68 Satellite

What all b-body parts interchange? It is rumored to be burnt from a gas tank fire from the rear bumper to the firewall, so it needs lots of parts.

Update it for sure needs all the glass and the interior, since it needs interior I presume it needs wiring too. Taillights for sure too.

If it got hot enough, I'd be worried about the exterior sheet metal. As for trim, '68 Satellites are fairly common, pretty well covered in the resto aftermarket, and a fair amount of things sure look like they would interchange '68-'70. Differences in seat back release on '70, door lock knob location '68, dash pads, other details. A lot depends on how '68-accurate you want.

What makes it so special that you would even both with something so extensively damaged ?? The time and money to restore it would exceed the final value by so much its ridiculous.

68 through 70 B body... very similar.

The glass would be Plymouth B body or Dodge Coronette.
Also depends on coupe or sedan.

Some parts will be Plymouth specific and some will exclude Charger.

I too would be concerned with the metal fatigue cause by heat.

Also agree it would cost way more to fix then it will ever be worth.

I haven't even seen pics of it, so I am going off a verbal description. None of this even matters as he has chosen not to sell it.

I don't think metal fatigue is a problem with a fire. The majority of strength in body panels is due to cold working them by stamping. Heat anneals the cold working stresses and the panel ends up being like 'butta'.
