Correct Caliper Pin Length?

I was going through my collection of use used caliper pins and I noticed that between all of them there were two different lengths. Measuring from the underside of the attached washer to the tip.
The two sizes I have are 4-5/16" and 4-15/16"
I would be interesting in knowing which length would be correct for the 70-74 E-body?
